Day 1 UNSW Sunsprint Challenge

Day 1 started in bleak conditions not really suitable for racing solar cars. Schools from around the city were greeted with heavy cloud, intermittent showers and a very wet track. Fortunately the morning session is all about scrutineering by the judging panel. By the time all cars had been assessed the clouds had cleared and the sun broke through to allow a pleasant afternoon of racing. Here are some highlight of the practice session prior to the time trials. Our Year 10 team entered two cars, the new version of Bullet featuring an innovative clutch and the 2014 Bullet car.
